Facilities
The Department of Performance Studies boasts a 10-station audio lab, a 12-station theatre design lab, a state of the art recording studio, and a black box theatre.
Facilities Usage
- First priority is given to students currently enrolled in courses that require use of the facility.
- Second priority is given to MUSC and THAR majors currently enrolled in MUSC, PERF, or THAR classes.
- Third priority is given to nonmajors currently enrolled in MUSC, PERF, or THAR classes.
- Fourth priority is given to other students who have submitted projects for review by the Performance Studies faculty. A written proposal for the project must be submitted to the Department of Performance Studies, along with a letter from the faculty advisor sponsoring the project, giving assurance that the student has the skills to properly operate the equipment. This must be done in advance, and projects may be turned down.
Any student may be required to complete an orientation session before using the facility.
